So you’re thinking of getting a mens body shaper – in this heat? Why not!? A body shaper can be work at any time of the year although there are some golden rules you should follow to make sure you don’t just become a puddle of sweat.
Choosing the right mans shapewear
Wait – “What’s a shapewear” I hear you cry! Well I did that on purpose as I just wanted to quickly clear up what all the different terms mean. In essence, the terms “body shaper” and “shapewear” mean the same thing – so when you are reading sites and information like hits you don’t have to worry about them being different. There are, of course, different types of mens body shapers/shapewear such as the slimming vest and sports slimming top – all of which do the same thing but in slightly different ways.
So that’s a great point to start on really! In the heat of the summer and fro everyday wear you are not going to want to be using the slimming sports tops. They make you sweat – on purpose – to help lose pounds in the gym So trying to wear these for every day use is going to make you sweat like anything! Great if you want to lose some pounds – not so great if you’re around other people!
So I need a body shaper mens slimming vest?
Well that’s not for me to say! Some people really like to wear vests and sure I like them a lot! For others slimming vests on the thing so it all depends on what you like. If you’ve worn a vest in the past then you will probably be okay but if not then you would have to get used to wearing one first – again, you need to think about the colour too – such as you don’t want to wear a black body shaper under a white shirt! So you can see that choosing a body shaper is not as easy as it first looks and espically not if you want to stay cool at the same time. You need to make sure you look at the material it is made out of too – will your body suit it or do you sweat more using certain materials? Make sure you get the right size body shaper as mens body shapers come in a variety of sizes so just make sure you get the right one to suit your ‘real’ size – remember, you’re not wanting to look like a football stuffed in a sock – if the body shaper you choose is not comfortable then you will not like it! And – of course, you are going to sweat even more if you get the wrong size!
